Hi, I’m Fiona.

I am a Physiotherapist and Pelvic Health Expert who is passionate about helping women of all life stages reach their health goals. I practise a holistic approach to patient care and focus on working collaboratively with my patients to optimise their path to wellness.

Early in my physiotherapy career, I developed a love for women’s and pelvic health, which led me to complete my Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in 2017. I have a special interest in Chronic Pelvic Pain, Pre & Postnatal presentations and returning to movement following gynaecological surgery.

I have worked in a number of setting including hospitals, private clinics and pelvic pain settings (as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside sexologists). Furthermore, I am fortunate to be part of the wonderful Women’s Health Physiotherapy team at Cabrini Hospital since 2016. Here, I provide acute care to new mothers on the maternity ward and have previously led pregnancy exercise classes for mums-to-be.

My personal experience of pregnancy and birth has given me greater perspective on the challenges placed upon the body through the perinatal period, and I aim to approach my patient’s journey with care, guidance and compassion.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my growing family and focus on keeping fit and healthy through weight training and pilates practice. I’m a big lover of tea (you should see my collection) and dark chocolate (min 70% of course) and am always looking for the next destination to add to my travel list.
